It's an amazing place to get clients, and market/promote yourself, your services and products, once you know how.

Until then prepare to be restricted, suspended by Linkedin and alienated or flamed by the clique that hangs out in the Q&A.

Don't even attempt to promote yourself until you are wearing the 500+ badge and have 20+ recommendations!

Oh, and if you are new and wonder why you don't get many results when you search for things, it's because you need to have 5 million + in your network first!
