...and surprisingly most marketing agencies don't use it anywhere close to it's full potential.
has anyone recommended press release marketing to you before?
You think every success coach would know about it considering how powerful it is.
Most people who write their own press releases make it sound like an advertisement. In the very least, you must make it newsworthy and sound like a newspaper journalist wrote it.
But beyond all that, there is TECHNIQUE to LEVERAGE & MULTIPLY it's effectiveness,
#1 CONTROVERSY = PUBLICITY
Tim Ferriss author of the best selling "Four Hour Workweek" gave a very exclusive presentation to a select group of individuals (me amongst them) about how he planned and executed his book promotion. (No recordings or transcripts were produced). Many have said that he leveraged PR better than any other business author in the last 10 years!
Rich Schefren wrote the "Attention Age Doctrine". It is claimed to be the most downloaded business marketing ebook in the history of the web. His theory is the same as Tim's.
I won't go into it all here, but for my clients I'm happy to discuss it one-on-one.
#2 REPETITION and MASSIVE ACTION
At minimum have 1 new press release go out every month. Hit every PR service with it. Consider offline PR as well if appropriate.

press release marketing and my service.
here's a peak at an example of what $100 can get you...
This is a feature interview via telephone of me and Trump University's dean, done by NYC24 - Columbia University's journalism department. This article started a chain reaction and created tens of thousands of dollars of buzz for me.

Hint:
the press release itself is worth the money and time invested even if it doesn't get picked up, but when it does, and you get feature articles or hit the TV news, that's when it really pays off.
Are you or your methods controversial?
Could they be?.
